Ryan Whelan and
Aibhlinn Doheny
Ryan Whelan
Ryan Whelan is an aspiring young drummer from Dublin, Ireland. Ryan has put in the hours in both studio and live settings with numerous artists, covering many genres. With a wide range of influences such as Matt Garstka and Vinnie Colaiuta, Ryan lives to achieve a top level of musicianship and creativity in music.
Aibhlinn Doheny
Aibhlínn is from Laois and she started playing music when she was 5. She always had a great interest in music and loves many different genres which inspired her to learn different instruments, including the drums which are by far her favourite instrument. After many years of tapping beats around the house she started taking drum lessons when she was 12 years old. Over the past few years, she has been lucky enough to have received some great opportunities. She has played for Prince Albert of Monaco, Justin Trudeau (Canadian Prime Minister) and Michael Flatley(Lord of the Dance) among others. Aibhlínn’s influence include Art Blakey, Anika Nilles, Benny Greb, Darren Beckett and Ricky Quagliato. Aibhlínn’s goal is to become the best musician that she can be and she aspires to have a career in music, both performing and composing.
